As a small plumbing & HVAC company in Middleport, NY, Halstead’s Plumbing & Heating was established in 2009. After a decade in the industry, Ryan Halstead decided to go out under his own banner and built his business on the solid reputation he’d earned for customer service. Developing a strong community base in Middleport, Halstead’s has expanded over its 15+ year history into Niagara, Erie, and Orleans Counties. Over that time, the company has also grown from a simple one-person shop to a team of eight experienced, knowledgeable, dependable technicians. At the same time, the team has kept the integrity and pride in quality work that the company was founded on.

Ryan Halstead
Beginning his career in 1999 as a plumbing apprentice, Ryan earned his license with a local plumber while supporting his family of five. Taking full advantage of opportunities that were opened to him, he kept climbing the small business ladder, earning numerous certifications and licenses that included his Licensed Plumber status. He also gained extensive experience in the field. This led to him founding his own business, Halstead’s Plumbing & Heating, a decade after starting in the industry.

Blake Halstead
Ryan’s son, Blake, worked with his dad at a young age, helping with emergency and weekend calls, as well as after school and over summers. Though he didn’t originally intend to enter the plumbing and HVAC industry, he ended up back at the business after making a name for himself as a highly skilled welder. A layoff during COVID brought him back to the business and has continued at Halstead’s ever since as an integral part of the company’s growth and success. He continues to educate himself beyond the several certifications he’s already earned and is hands-on in all parts of the business.
