Systems In Your Home

Your home is your pride and joy, but it often takes a lot of extra work to keep it operating effectively. What if you could take a lot of those seasonal maintenance tasks off of your to-do list? When you work with Halstead’s Plumbing & Heating, we can handle your whole house maintenance list, giving you free time back to enjoy again instead of having to worry about whether you’re getting the right replacement parts or handling the process correctly.

Each of the systems in your home that we handle for you provides you with a little more free time and a little less concern that the maintenance is being performed properly. In addition, because our team works on maintenance tasks for systems like yours every day, they take less time to complete these tasks than you may as a homeowner.

Maintenance

No Job Is Too Small

We also notice a lot of small things about your system that you may overlook, which means that we can let you know about these issues and with your permission, quickly undertake repairs. Is there supposed to be that bit of grease leaking out? What about the funny sound from the drain? This often allows a small part to be replaced at a low cost before it turns into a much bigger problem due to the wear and tear the initial failing part can cause on the rest of your systems.
  • Test water pressure to ensure the water is regulated to a safe operating pressure (protects fixtures & water lines from potential breaks or failures)
  • Inspect all visible water lines for leak prevention.
  • Inspect all visible drainage lines in the house.
  • Inspect all drainage under sinks & vanities to ensure they are not leaking in the bottom of the cabinet.
  • Inspect toilets to ensure the wax ring isn't leaking or that the toilet isn't running, causing high water bills.
  • Flush hot water tank of sediment & debris to prolong the lifetime of your hot water tank.
  • Inspect the main water shut off to ensure it’s working properly.
  • Inspect back-flow preventer.
  • Check expansion tank.
  • Inspect all supply lines feeding fixtures.
  • Furnace or boiler service (swap filters on furnace & check burning process) (check water pressure on boiler, expansion tank, clean burners)
  • Air conditioning service (clean outdoor unit & indoor unit, check refrigerant levels)

All parts are at an additional cost & not included on the plan. We will provide a report of what needs to be fixed with up to 3 hours of labor provided.
